Is this emotional abuse?

I would say it is part of emotional abuse but has your mom always been this way? If not, then perhaps she is going through menopause? I know many of my freinds mothers going crazy because they don't know how to deal with the major hormonal changes. you say she will get upset easily if you don't tell her you love her that means she could be very sensitive, which is another sign of menopause. This is a very serious issue for you and your family. Even if it is not Menopause, you should try to seek help for her.
