My daughter was in a car accident that was clearly not her fault, but is getting the run around by all.?
My daughter was in an accident on February 28, 2011, the other driver's fault. The other driver's insurance is with USAA. The dealership we took it to told us it will be totaled. The insurance adjuster came back with a quote. We had a second adjuster look at it. It was to be fixed. USAA ordered the parts and wrong twice. Then they took away our rental car after 6 weeks saying it took too long to fix. (My husband requires a car for his job so he drives the rental as my daughter is under 25, no one will rent her a car.) The dealership then provided us with a rental, but than began to monitor our debit card. We changed the card as the dealership was to cover the cost of the rental. Now the body shop is holding our car hostage. It is June 5th. We want our car back. The accident was our fault, so why do we have to pay anything?
