What is the difference between an ape and a human?

You are oversimplifying the differences and humans are apes. We may be a very weird looking kind of ape but we are still apes. Also there are some differences in which the other apes have the positive difference and us humans have the negative differences such as the fact that some apes are much stronger and faster than us. Even if you took away the abilities of humans that you just mentioned we would still be human. Also how do you know that non human apes can't control them selves in the ways you just mentioned?
